Everything changed in 2012. A violent clash of global superpowers dragged humankind to its knees in a war to end all wars, and the development of the Genesis Virus – a chilling new innovation in biological warfare – devastated the populace. But the war was only the beginning. The M-Gene, found in only a fraction of the surviving community, revealed a genetic abnormality which caused previously hidden gifts to manifest. The term ‘mutant’ quickly escalated into a taboo term. The following years saw the construction of a ‘utopia’ in the wastelands. Eden: the floating city, built over the wreckage of a long forgotten metropolis and designed for the protection of the survivors. But beneath the plate lies a second city – Junk Town, and all is not well. With Eden’s totalitarian government riddled with controversy, rebellion from below and the ever present threat of mutants, revolution will only take a spark to ignite.
